Periwinkles are marine snails and a class of edible intertidal snails. Periwinkles are abundant within their range, they are mostly found at depths ranging from the intertidal zone to 40 metres below. Cooking Periwinkles is very easy, you put them in boiling water add a little bit of salt and simmer for about 5 to 10 mins.
